Valuation of components assets of $325,000,000 acquisition of well-known North Carolina trophy resort including three upscale full service hotels, a luxury spa, a private country club, one world-renowned championship golf course and seven additional golf courses, conference facilities and retail outlets

 

Texas Convention Hotel

 

Oversight of erroneous assessment litigation for 1,500-room convention hotel in San Antonio wherein major issue was contributory value of trade name, trained workforce and other intangibles; received jury decision resulting in real estate tax refunds of over $1 million.

 

Virginia Country Club

 

Oversight of erroneous assessment litigation for a well-known Virginia private country club wherein major issue was proper implementation of highest and best use appraisal theory; received a favorable decision resulting in real estate tax refunds of approximately $1.5 million.
